you had to hold your breath\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and each other,<\/span><\/p>\n

whenever the waves\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

came crashing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That the wind\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

kept blowing the boat\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the opposite direction\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and the salt water,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

teased their thirst.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That the hunger<\/span><\/p>\n

was so severe,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

they survived off of breast milk\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and if you couldn’t handle the journey,<\/span><\/p>\n

then you couldn\u2019t survive in the states.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But that’s unfair\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

because the entire time\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

nature kept trying. <\/span><\/p>\n

It kept stalling. <\/span><\/p>\n

It kept saying,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 come back, <\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n
